ESPN stealing rundown theme

Has anyone else seen the 'rundown' theme during sportscenter? It's a blatant copy of Fox Sports' Final Score.

FSN's version is a bit more annoying, b/c it is a lot busier, but the theft is undeniable.

i dunno its the same concept they have had with PTI for years now. i like but i'm surprised they put it on there because they usually always have a story that you want to see at the end of the show to keep the viewers watching the whole show.

fsn fs is a better product. ive been saying that for how long?
true, b/c they show pure highlights... not endless talking heads and silly espn-fueled controversies. Their screen is a little too busy tho.

Does anyone know what FSN calls their 'rundown'? I thought it was awfully close to that.

It's the 'rundown' too. I guess espn didn't try too hard to cover up the theft.

isnt it called rundown?

if you think its complicated now you should have seen it pre octoberish, it was crazy. personally i like the ticker and the lineup on the right. i can manage information and know whats coming up (in what order and not teased for a highlight that will be in 90 mins) so i can get up or pay attention accordingly.

Some humor for all ESPN fans.

Chapter Two: A Firm Anchor in Nonsense
From Dan Patrick to Stewart Scott: the catastrophic decline in talent.

There was a time when you could turn on ESPN and see sports coverage without mindless idiots waxing moronic with overused, annoying, nonsensical catch phrases and sensationalistic, ill-informed contrarianism, or worse- mumble-mouthed former pros who can't even read from a goddamn teleprompter. There was a time when the on air "talent" was actually talented- or at least competent.

cont'd....
