ESPN.com is currently searching for an OSU student to document the upcoming season from his/her point-of-view. In a nutshell, here is what they ask:

"We?re trying to launch a new idea for this season called ?A Season In the Stands.? Basic execution: we send a camcorder to students at four schools. They record the season through the eyes of themselves, their friends, and their campus. We edit it together into a (theoretically) compelling TV/web show."

As for the original request, our friend must be confused. Brett Favre has not yet retired from or been traded to our humble institution, so I doubt ESPN is really interested in any footage we could come up with. The confusion is understandable though, as I am sure he is used to the ESPN boards and is beffuddled by the layout here.
