ESPN "expert" predictions

For the out-of-town 'experts' who don't follow tOSU as closely we do, the 14 NFL draftees really got their attention. So they assume tOSU can't be as competitive this year.

It's the old "re-building vs. re-loading" question, except that they got the answer wrong. They think we're "re-building" while we know we're "re-loaded."

As everyone knows... "The only poll that matters is the one they take at the end of the year."

Michigan - 1.5 National Titles since 1936
Michigan - 3 Heisman winners (2 from Ohio and one from Indy (I just like saying that))
Michigan - ends season ranked below Ohio State 2 straight years
Michigan - Loses 3 year starter at QB and a Heisman finalist a RB
Michigan - returns Braylong "Roberto Duran" Edwards, Jason "One good game against Northwestern" Avant and Steve "I haven't really done much at WR" Breaston

What's not to love?

Good for the magazines. UM has as many questions as us, they just won it last year, so in the media eyes it goes to them. We were favored last year.
I'm just surprised at the genereal lack of love for Purdue around the country. They're the biggest threat to OSU's B10 title aspirations in my eyes.
Edit: You have to love Rece Davis's Orange bowl :lol: Michigan.

*shrug* guess I'm a bit bias since I practiced with them. I think their defense, while not spectacular, will give their offense enough chances to win games.

The funny thing about the picks by so called experts is that 99% percent of them are wrong by time the end of the year shows up. When OSU won in '02 the only expert that picked OSU was the Buckeye Hater BEANO COOK, which totally was unexpected from him. I mean come on do we really know, NO!

I go to Purdue. I live in Indiana. I walked on for conditioning/fitness, plus I still have the itch :biggrin:. I've been a Bucks fan first and foremost my whole life, I just try to keep it from the team, heh (note: it hasn't happened).

Edit: I'll be off the team before the season starts:
