Just to let you guys know, I ran into an ESPN.com poll in their collegefootball section....

"What is college football's best rivalry?

Michigan/TOSU 38%

Army/Navy 10.6%

OU/Texas 26%

Miami/FSU 14%

Alabama/Auburn 11%



This poll is bullshit, its obvious from the history/coaches/fans/hatred that OSU Michigan should be over 50% its just that the stupid fans of the teams like say a fan of Florida State wouldnt be honest and say what he thinks the real best rivalry is, he'l just pick the one his team is in.....whatever....GO BUCKS!

Fan polls are almost always more about popularity than they are about facts. Of course, "Best Rivalry" is always going to be based on opinion. Many of those hippie Red Sox fans truly believe that the Red Sox-Yankees is the best rivalry in all of sports. Cleveland Browns fans (which, in my experience, is RARELY a true buckeyes fan) believe Browns-Steelers is bigger than Ohio State-Michigan. I believe that OSU-UM is far bigger and better than any other rivalry. We can shout out all our reasons for why this rivalry is better than that, and other people can back up their rivalries. But it's all about people's opinions, and the polls are about popularity.
