did you forget that Oklahoma played for the National Championship last year, right after they got blown out by K State in the Conference Championship game?

No, I didn't forget, I just chalked it up to a fluke due to it happening so late in the season and OU having such a huge BCS points lead.

If it happens early in the year and the media has a whole season to keep rehashing NU '01 and OU '03 it will be very tough for the FSU/UM loser to overcome(assuming they don't win the ACC).
