Eric does not have a favorite but his top five includes Tennessee, Georgia, Miami, Texas and Ohio State.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Ohio State is one of the very few Northern schools that seem to always pop up in these southern kids' top 5? JT is the man!

I really hope we can land one of these OOS DB's (Berry, Allen, Johnson, and Warren) I know we have a small chance of getting these guys but getting one of them would be phenomenal, and if we got two, I would consider JT the best recruiter in the country.

Eric has been impressed by the steady flow of coaches at his school. He says the relationship he develops with the coaching staff will be a major factor for him.

Maybe this gives us an advanatge? Every recruit aways points out the relationship with Tress and the staff as one of, if not the, main reason for chosing Ohio State!

BSB$: Berry Weighing His Options

Eric is enamored by our offer, as he got it before his Jr. year (along with UNC and Georgia) and is now realizing the signifiance of now. Enjoys the great relationship he has with the staff. Plans on taking a trip around the Southeast and even though no trip, as of yet, is scheduled for Ohio State, he knows what we have to offer. Eric also mentions playing QB in the spread... I wonder if the staff has told him he could?

My Take: It was a very nice update for any Buckeye fan. Berry seems genuinely interested and has many good things to say about the program. IMO, seems like a kid who wants to leave the state.
