Tyler Ecker SHOULD HAVE run out of bounds on that play, but didn't. He turned to stay in bounds to fight for extra yards, despite that they didn't have any timeouts. He got tackled (and its arguable about whether he fumbled the ball), and the clock kept running and they lost.

Personally, I pull for Big Ten teams in OOC games and bowl games. That usually goes for M*ch*gan, too. But I admit I was laughing at their loss to Appy State. I would have laughed at Wisconsin in that situation, but that's about it. Lately, I think I dislike Wisconsin more than Michigan. Last year, Nebraska became my favorite Big 12 team, as they were, in a way, a Big Ten team. This year, I think Nebraska will be my least favorite team. I don't want to see a team come in and win the conference in their first year. But I'll still root for them OOC.

Avant caught it, laterals went to Breaston, Hart, Avant, fumble, Manningham, Avant, OL intentional fumble, Hart intentional fumble, Hart, Ecker.

He decided that as the slowest skill player on the field, he should try to score from 75 yds away, instead of letting Breaston run it in against the only nebraska defenders still trying. He was on his hip for all 60 yds, including when Ecker decided to just casually stumble out of bounds 15+ yds from the endzone with no attempt to lateral :lol:

Maybe it would help if we put the game being discussed in tags around the text. That would make it easier to keep track of which Keystone Wolverines embarrassing exercise in epic ineptitude we're talking about.

For instance,

Similar rules are necessary for Crable. His failures were so rampant - Beanie 06, Troy 06, App St 07, Beanie 07, etc - it is easy to get them mixed up (my bad).
