so if im understanding this the open teams are denver, chicago, seattle, pitt, and tenn? if so i would like tennessee but if somehow bucky katt wants to come off of green bay then im open to it.

there are no "open" teams yet. there are confirmed and there are people I'm waiting to hear back from. if they don't answer today, then there will be open teams. I don't expect to hear back from the following teams, which would make them "open".

- Denver
- Pittsburgh
- Tennessee
- Seattle

I'm also taking GB's spot right now, but if a board veteran wants them they can trade with me.

Anybody who has a team already and wants an open team, wait till that team is open and let me know.

This might be a stupid question, but what is the purpose of this draft? Or rather, what am I aiming to do with my picks? Pick who I think would most fit the team and be the best pros? Or pick who I think they'd pick if the given players were left on the board?

The real reason for this draft is ensure that the Redskins continue their recent run of bad first round draft choices (or none with a trade) - rumor has it Snyder gets his picks from here.

I'd modify that a bit... it should be the same way as in the real world. Team needs or best player available is always a decision to be made on draft day.

Johnson is a pretty good trade for a first rounder... but a full set of picks would be nice for once :smash:

I know 8 hours seems like a lot of time, but is there anyway we could make it 10 or 12? I don't want to sleep through my pick time. Especially if it's the weekend and someone on the West Coast makes a pick at about midnight EST, I'd be in trouble.

I'm sure you can pick earlier or have the commisoner make the pick for you.
