I know this is embarrasing but Elton John has said that the Cincinati Bengals are his favorite team.



A few years ago they had a list of actors and musicians and their favorite teams and Elton is the only one who chose the Bengals.



My guess is that it is because of the uniforms.

Actually, according to Roy Firestone, Elton John is a huge sports fan, particularly of the Atlanta Braves. Apparently, during his concerts which took place during playoff time, Elton would listen to Braves' games on an earpiece while he was performing. Now that's dedication!
