MY FAVORITE THINGS: EPISODE 15, DAY OF THE DILLY BAR

Later on in the broadcast one of the cameras found Dan Lehman, a technician whose job is to make sure the Gophers' communications are functioning properly. He was eating a Dilly Bar in a snowstorm, as heroes generally do.

I was at that game... you all have no idea how miserable it was.

Windchill was around zero.

:slappy:

Just sayin': This is a good one.

Worth the read for this gem alone...

Some people enter a party, exchange pleasantries with the host, hang their coats up in the closet or lay them down on the coats bed and then quietly join a conversation. Olave kicked in a window, tore his pants off, threw them up on the ceiling fan and cannonballed into the punch bowl.”

Remember when: the time that a lack of competition in the Big Ten prompted a call for Ohio State and others to leave the conference or remove the weak links, in 1972

Just sayin': I don't remember that at all. I graduated in 1971, maybe I was still 100% focused on my job......

I watched all of the reruns I cared to watch back when March Madness, MLB, and all the other sports were shutdown. I'll watch live games of other teams before I pretend it's 2009 again.

The big wigs of the B1G are going to look really silly if this is happening week after week.

Similar to "My Favorite Things"; here are the first three in a series of articles by another writer 11W titled "Pride And Pettiness":

PRIDE AND PETTINESS: CHAPTER 1, TROLLING JIM HARBAUGH WITH A STAGED CALL ABOUT MILK

You've made it to Pride and Pettiness.

We're living in tough times. Some people, like our very own Ramzy, like to cope by looking back at happy memories. I, personally, like to revisit moments of satisfying pettiness.

Like Ramzy, my philosophy is simple. From Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice:

For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbors, and laugh at them in our turn?

That we do, Jane. In today's chapter, we're traveling back to Ohio State's postgame press conference following the dramatic double-overtime victory over Michigan in 2016.

PRIDE AND PETTINESS: CHAPTER 2, NICK BOSA PLANTING THE FLAG AFTER SACKING BAKER MAYFIELD ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

You've made it to Pride and Pettiness.

Even though Big Ten football action returned this fall, we're still living in tough times.

In today's chapter, we're traveling back to San Francisco's dominant win over the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football last year.
