I think I'm OK now. I either overlooked it the first place, was looking in the wrong place, or whatever happen was fixed (reset cookies, etc.?)

I don't thik this is an issue anymore.

Additionally, I changed some usergroup permissions (Video Clips Director) to see if that would help Mili with his problems. *crosses fingers*

I'm now changing several "Multiplier" setting to see if it will slow down the interest/point acrual rate.

All changed setting (those other than default) have been moved 1 decimal point.

Points For Referral's Actions Multiplier? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Profile View? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Thread View Multiplier? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Thread Multiplier? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Reply Multiplier? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Posted Character? .01 changed to .001
Points Per Good Reputation? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Bad Reputation?
Points Per Poll Creation? 5 changed to .5
Points Per Poll Vote? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Thread Rate? 1 changed to .1
Points Per Calendar Event Added? 1 changed to .1

3yac: Looks like it worked...I can buy stuff now. Now, what's the deal with stuff "being out of stock"? I went to the sports icons and when I clicked on NCAA School Icons I got "The item you are trying to purchase is currently out of stock." How in the hell can a virtual (non-existent) item be "out of stock"?

Oh yeah, please add Youngstown State to the NCAA logos if possible... :biggrin:

Everything that can be purchased from the vbPlaza has a set quantity for purchase. Once those are gone, then you must wait until the store "restocks". I believe EVRYTHING is set up with a quantity of 20 items. Meaning there are 20 NCAA logos for purchase. Once those are gone, then you must wait for the store to restock. I believe (again) that all restocking dates are set at 1 week. So, in one week the store will restock with 20 more NCAA logos for purchase. The NCAA logos are set to restock on the 27th at 4:44.

I have no idea if we can add graphics to the vbPlaza store. I'm guessing that all these logos were part of the vbPlaza module that Clarity updated/added. I'm guessing that you CAN add stuff ... I just have no idea HOW that would be done. If it's is possible, then I think the "gifts" would be the first category of graphics that could use an overhaul. There are a few good ones in there but most are not very good/useful.

I had set team logos to 1000 each, they got reset somehow. We can just apply 1000 to each again at some point here.

The postbit display of awards is off for the moment, until I finish the work on the system. It's a completely different piece of software we're using, and the databases weren't similar at all. The old data has all been imported, but there's some clean-up and maintenance to do. On top of that, we have the daunting task ahead of catching up with about 18 months of missing information too.

Once it's all done, and I figure out a way to allow users to toggle it on and off in their UserCP, then I'll reapply it to the forum postbits.

For the time being, you can still see them in UserCP, as can anyone else who looks.

Will try and get back to some of this later. Right now, working on the new articles software (the link in the navbar is functional again) and little things like autolinking -> Santonio Holmes.

Also considering and experimenting with an OSUwiki for the site.

Anyway, trying to get as much done as humanly possible in this current little burst of time and energy before my next disappearance. :-P Killing the problem with slow page loads and then the error messages were top of the list, everything else is and has been gravy.

Clarity, I noticed that the schedules/results and the rosters were a wee bit outdated. Do you need someone to work on those? If so I'd be glad to do that. As long as I'm not stepping on anyones toes.

Edit:

The recruiting resources tab could be updated also.
