Well, so much for all that rest the Pistons were getting and the Celtics being tired...Boston wins game one, 88-79. :biggrin2:

Still, I'm sure the Pistons will be quite happy if they can steal game two. Boston needs to hold serve before heading to Detroit.

Pistons flat out looked terrible tonight. I don;t think Boston played extremely either, so a good win. Hopefully game 2 is better executed.

I still think I like Detroit in the series. Chauncey only got about 25 - 30 minutes and Rasheed Wallace looked pretty awful.

If Boston takes game 2 though, you can't expect anything less than the Celtics in the finals.

And Paul Pierce is playing out of his mind right now.

Yes the way the celts didn't play up to their potential , or played down to their opponent.
Btw I don't need to watch the series , I can see everything I need right here on BP and know exactly what happened.
