Early Verbal To Hold Your Spot

I think it's the things Kalis said which bother people. Also, the fact he's openly tried to get other OSU commits to switch over.

You got it. The Ohio border is not open anymore, not after this year, if URB wants them, URB gets them. I think we go after Diamond, Dodson and Kozan, thats a solid OL haul. Diamond really wants to meet Urb and will take a visit to tOSU, via Tweeter.

Don't need to read it again, just making sure that you would be "more than happy to welcome" someone who might be afraid of competition.

No one would be coming here if Urban didn't want him, so I'll trust his judgment.

Good grief, I'm sure glad everything I ever said when I was 17 wasn't scrutinized to the level some folks do to potential recruits who dare to consider a different institution.

Just commenting on your general statement of being welcoming to any one of them. So I guess you would welcome one that has basically said he doesn't really want all that much competition. Nice attempt at deflecting it to Urban, though.

And please spare me the typical crap of lumping my comment to you into the crowd of "folks do to potential recruits who dare to consider a different institution." That is beyond insulting.

Yeah, Kalis' "ohio border" comment irked some, and is the typical knee-jerk type comment from a 17 year old that goes with the age (and is scrutinized), but that is much different from a comment I heard from another scUM recruit that I alluded to in my post that prompted your snippy reply. One comment is more along the lines of smack-talk, the other is not. One I chalk up to "youth", the other I do not.
