Early season Lineup and minute breakdown

antosu

Senior
Because of Billings improving so much lately, our lineup will change as far the 1 and 2 spots are concerned. And maybe the 3.

Here are my two projections:

this is the lineup if Billings plays the 2 =

pg- Tony Stockman (wont be benched, scores too much)
sg- Billings (Best spot for him, but he can play the 3)
sf- JJ Sullinger (better hope Billings plays the 2)
pf- Ivan Harris (almost a lock)
c- TD (locked)

This is the lineup if Billings plays the 3. (I hope he doesn't)

pg- BFC
sg- Tone
sf- Billings
pf- Ivan Harris
c- TD

There are 200 minutes to be played and more important than the lineup is the minute breakdown. Minute/points

TD- 32 mins/11.5 pts
TS- 33 mins/14.9 pts
RB- 28 mins/11.3 pts
IH- 24 mins/8 pts
JJ- 23 mins/8 pts
MS- 17mins/6pts
BFC-15mins/5pts
JB- 12mins/4pts
MM- 5mins/3pts
JJW-5Mins/2pts
MT-5mins/2pts
Foster ?

Give a take a couple of minutes on some of these fellas and there you have it. That puts us at about 75.7 pts a game scoring and makes us 8 deep with three or four guys only getting cleanup time.

This is my projection for early season minutes but late in the season I see Butler and Matt T. getting more minutes.

This is really tough to project since you not only have a new style of ball, but a new coach who may be able to get different things out of his players. I feel about BFC much they way I do about Lydell Ross - I would love nothing more than to see him step up and have a great senior season.

My lineup is:

PG - BFC
SG - Billings
SF - Sullinger
PF- Harris
C - Dials

Stockman will see a lot of time off the bench, mostly for BFC. If I am wrong about BFC I hope to see Butler pick up those minutes (he better since he is the man next season).

Beyond that I think your minutes projections are pretty good.

The way Syl's been playing in summer leagues, I have a hard time believing 17 min. per game. Clearly there's talent at the forward spots, but I don't see Harris taking the lion's share of the PT.
