Dave Matthews is a South African and attended a top private high school in Johannesburg called St Stithians. He was dismissed for discipinary reasons and his family emigrated to the USA shortly thereafter. Quite the rebel in high school as I understand it from some who attended with him. Well liked.

Had the chance to see the Eagles in June of their '02 tour (should have gone to the hell freezes over tour in '94/'95... cannot remember the year... however I couldn't come up with the dough).

I've been to all kinds of concerts and they are at/near the top... As Mili said, if you are even a moderate fan, I'd suggest you spend the money and see them live... they do put on a great show...

There was nothing quite like the Kid Rock show I went to a few years back and a crew of what had to be professional "exotic dancers" came strolling in. The four of them parted a silenced lobby that was wall to wall guys. I've never seen anything quite like it again.
