Chuck Palmer was on the 2-deep as an end for the undefeated 1944 tOSU team, spent some time in SE Asia during WWII, and became a member of TBDBITL upon returning to tOSU after the war, where he had spent some time in the ceremonial band for General Douglas MacArthur.
