Kirby's are for wussies. You do know that you are not using the full power of that motor right? A trick of the trade I found out about their demo models. Their is a small switch where you plug in your attachment. Only the demo attachments flip this switch to kick in the full power of the motor.

we bought the one that he used in the demo along with all of the attachments. He offered to go to his truck and get us a new one and we told him not to worry about it. we like this one :o)

We have an ancient Electrolux they are historically the best. Ours was a discontinued model , but it really, really sucks! :tongue2:

$550, Hell. Have you checked the prices of some of the Kirby's?


My Wife gets a new $80 vacume every year or so, but one of these days I am sure I will have to brake down and get her a Dyson.....
