Ex-OSU champ admits investment scam

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

A former sports agent and OSU wrestling champion admitted yesterday to a scheme that bilked investors out of $1.8 million. Dunyasha M. Yetts appeared before federal Judge John D. Holschuh and pleaded guilty to two counts of mail fraud and one count of conspiracy to possess marijuana.
Yetts promised to invest money for investors, but instead spent it on himself or paid off investors from previous deals, Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin Kelley said.

...the moment that most remember was Gary Ice's upset win over Danyasha Yetts in the finals. Yetts would win three OVAC titles and two Ohio state championships in an incredible high school career, but that night belonged to Gary Ice.

Hard to believe it was 25 years ago, the night Yetts actually lost a high school match. It's a shame to see what eventually became of him. :ohwell:
