Duke is one of only 2 ACC teams with only one conference loss.

And their QB, Thaddeus Lewis, has as many passing TDs (15) as Colt McCoy, with half the number of interceptions (4 vs. 8).

Just wanted to point out that Duke needs 7 wins to be bowl eligible this year (despite what ESPN has said a couple of times this week), since their win over NC-Central doesn't count. NC-Central is a provisional member making the transition into FCS (old 1-AA), and they don't give out enough schollies to have a win over them count.

An FBS team can count 1 win over an FCS team each year toward bowl eligibility, as long as that FCS school has issued at least 90% of its football scholarship over its previous 2 years. (63 is the schollie limit for FCB schools). So if they had beaten Richmond, they'd only need 1 more win.

I'm sure all of the Duke football fans reading this board are glad to have that cleared up. :tongue2:
