DT/OL Evan Blankenship (Official Thread)

Is that just a hunch?

Yep. I was listening to him before the Iowa game. You could just tell by looking at him that he loved being there. He was happy to say it was his third game he's attended. He looked very good for a late 16, early 17 year old.

After hearing his Penn State remark, I'm counting on him coming to Columbus.

What kind of prospect is he expected to be??

National Top 100?
Top 10 in PA?

A 5, 4 , 3 star prospect?

I know all that stuff isn't that important, was just wondering....

I'm not sure but if the staff offered him this early, he has to be up there near the top 100 I would think. Probably a 4 star. Also my wish list would have to be Oglesby, Blankenship, O'Dowd, and Shepsis. Also would love McCoy and Davis but they are more longshots.

no to get off track but Weterer may be more of a target in-state than Schepis. Be that as it may, the staff is obviously turning it's attention OOS for OL in the '07 class, with early contact going out to guys like Blankenship, O'Dowd and Oglesby.
