I think Hazell is going to help our recruiting cause big time in the East. Everything I have read about him has been really positive. Great hire by JT. There are several big time prospects in New Jersey this year and it sure can't hurt having him on the staff.

Coming from New York to Ohio State was ok for Will Smith, why not Worthington? :wink:

I never got too excited about the east coast players, only because we usually didn't get them... with Hazell, I hope this changes... I'm getting excited about some of these kids. (Worthington, as well as the OL from Baltimore) :biggrin: :biggrin:

Lets keep the fense up in Ohio... get a nice pipeling from Penn., and round the lot out with east coast kids, as well as Florida kids :biggrin2:

currently has offers from CT, PSU, Syracuse, BC, NC, Pitt, Maryland, Alabama, Central Florida, Va Tech, tOSU, and Buffalo and is also being recruited by scUM, Purdue, and Wisky.

He hasn't been able to narrow down his list yet but mentioned in the latest Rivals article that he "really looks up to Will Smith". As most know, Will is also from NY state.

Welcome to our home, 19! This Worhtington sounds like the new breed of players JT is looking for, big and athletic. I am glad to hear that he looks up to Will Smith because Will loved OSU and returnedhis senior year when he could have bolted out to the big league. I am excited about this kid already!

Worthington recorded 72 tackles, 7 sacks, and 12 quarterback pressures as a JR. He will also play TE this season.

"I get after the QB fast and I'm real strong. I hustle well and run after the ball well. I'll hawk it down wherever it is. I could play all day. I'd like to improve my speed because that's what you need even more than strength. I also have bad eyes and I'm gonna wear contacts this season, so hopefully that will help."
