Didn't Barksdale's or Martin's mom also prefer OSU too, though?

Neither did actually... Not as their first choices at least...

There are lots of things working in our favor with Cameron (mother, depth chart, DL in this class, etc.)... We'll just have to make sure that he sees what tOSU is all about when he visits...

I was reading somewhere where someone was saying that it seems that the kids whose parents have been through this process themselves, or have been a part of professional or college sports in some capacity, are the ones who really get what JT is "selling"... I think this seems to be a very valid point if you look at who we have and who usually ends up loving what tOSU is all about...
EDIT: Credit to LJB for the above statement... I remembered where I read it from ...

Which is also why so many think that Kyle Long is a strong possiblity???

That reminded me of the scene in "The Naked Gun" when he opens the drawer and says "Bingo" and pulls out a bingo card. LOL!! That crap makes me laugh everytime!!

Back to Heyward, He will be a player!! I just hope the last visit allows us to avoid some negative recruiting.

While I can agree with this, unfortunately I don't believe Cameron's dad is with him through this process, IIRC he died last year or so, though I'm sure he passed on as much advice as he could (I think he had a pronlonged illness or something).

Not answering for OSUbucks22, but the fact is that he has been around the atmosphere of being on a big stage since his dad was and he is not all about himself and basking in his own glory so to speak...

AJC

? Peachtree Ridge defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, who drew quite a crowd to his basketball game against Norcross on Tuesday night. On hand: Six Georgia coaches, two from LSU, two from Ohio State and one from Florida.

With Dunlap and Trattou committing to UF this week... I think that puts OSU in good position... Their Dline class may be filled.. and rumor was that Florida and OSU were neck and neck in this recruitment...

Obviously Georgia is still a concern... but Im very happy Florida landed those two Dline commits this week

I still think UGA is the one to watch and maybe LSU since they pulled Luther Davis' ship...

don't want to go off to a different tangent, but what is the deal with LSU and the Luther Davis pull? He was a big reason Barksdale got interested in LSU, they really hit it off....

I too believe UGA is the real comp here--hopefully CH does not commit this weekend, I'm sure he'll be pressured to because they don't want him visiting OSU..

check davis' thread...

Also not sure if it means anything, but DE Allen Bailey has dropped UGA and he was one of their last two recruits they were looking to pull with him and Heyward...
