Cam Heyward lets EA know exactly how he feels about his 88 Madden rating
You sort of walked into this one, EA. After putting out their ratings for Madden NFL 19, EA sent out what might have been a harmless tweet to spark some conversation. But Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward say it and decided to vent about his 88 rating.
Trash is a great way to put it. Heyward had a career-high 12 sacks in 2017 and was one of the most dominant 3-4 linemen in the league. To compare, here’s how the Top 15 rated defensive ends in Madden stacked up with Heyward at the bottom of the list.
Just looking at that list, Heyward has a strong case that his rating was trash. Also, on his own team, Stephon Tuitt, who had a very average year is rated an 86. If we are going to say Tuitt is an 86, you have to give Heyward a big bump.
Let us know how you feel about Heyward and all the Steelers’ ratings.
