I watched both of his films over at 11W and I personally like him better as a football player. As a bball player he doesn't stand out in his explosiveness, decent leaping ability, low lift on his jumper, and very slow to get his shot off. He would have a very difficult time against bigger relentless defenders like LS or Sam. Very fluid though. In the BIG he would really have to develop to be more than just a contributor. In football his length and long arms stand out. Smooth glider with enough speed to have some success. As a reciever he looks to have a chance to stand out.

GRAND RAPIDS ? Drake Harris said he still plans to attend Michigan State, but he wants to look, and that means not just visit Ohio State, but Florida, too.

Harris, Michigan?s No. 2-ranked football recruit for 2014 who verbally committed to Michigan State in June, said his visit Monday from Ohio State coach Urban Meyer doesn?t change his plans, but may change what he does the next month.

?I wasn?t saying I was de-committing, but that I had an offer from Ohio State and that I was happy about it. But it didn?t really change anything,? the Grand Rapids Christian High School junior said before Tuesday?s basketball game.

Still, Harris plans to visit Columbus ?sometime, I don?t know yet? and also plans to visit Florida.

?Maybe those two, but I don?t think anybody else,? he said.

By Trieu.....Says meeting Coach Meyer & receiving the offer was great. Still committed to Michigan State, but says he's now going to focus on just playing football in college. No visits set up yet, but has interest in checking out Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida, Alabama, Georgia & Florida State.
