VG's team looks decent. I would trade away some of your rb depth for a good wr.

IAB, no offense but your team sucks. For an 8 team league, your rb are turds. You better hit the trade/waiver wire asap.

O.K., we drafted last night...so here's what I did in the BP III Draft:

(I had the #1 pick in a 12 team snake draft)

QBs:
John Kitna
Ben Roethlisberger
Jeff Garcia

RBs:
LT
Brandon Jacobs
Ahman Green
Chester Taylor
Sammy Morris

WRs:
Chad Johnson
Donald Driver
Eddie Kennison
Brandon Marshall
Chris Henry

TEs:
Chris Cooley

Ks:
Jeff Wilkins
Neil Rackers

Ds:
San Diego
Oakland

Overall I'm pretty pleased with my draft...I wish I could have gotten one more solid RB, but hey, in a 12 team draft I guess I should be happy with who I ended up getting (an injury to just one RB could really kill my season though, I know)

I grabbed Chris Henry thinking he could be a great insurance policy for Ocho Cinco after his 8 game suspension, or even a decent spot play if absolutely needed (we have a 'Flex' position in our lineup).

None of my QBs make me say 'Wow!", but between the 3 of them I think I can play matchups or the hot hand and do fine (after the first 4 or 5 QBs taken, I figure everyone else is in a similar boat anyway)

So I feel pretty good going in...If my team can stay healthy, I really like my chances to finish in the top half of the league, and if I can get one of my QBs to get hot or make the right sub most weeks, then who knows.

Other than a slight RB depth problem, anyone else see a glarring need I should look to address either via waiver (which is thin, believe me) or trade?

Your RB's suck and your WR's blow except for Chad Johnson.

Actually I was shocked I got Jacobs that far in the draft (last pick 2nd round) as well as Ahman Green (1st pick in the 5th round).

I'm pretty pleased with Driver as my #2WR...and I figure I should be able to use Kennison (KC's #1) & Marshall (DEN's #2) as a servicable #3 WR with Henry adding depth after the 8th game (hopefully).

I'm definitely not deep at any position, but I think I'm pretty ballanced at all positions for a 12 team draft...as long as the injury bug doesn't hit me.

:hatepc:

And it hits me in week 1 with Brandon Jacobs...argh! :smash:

Anyone want to give me an RB?

How'd ya do? How many teams in your league?

Sorry to get back so late, somehow this thread got lost by me.

There are 10 teams in the league.

Here is the team I ended up with:

QBs:

Carson Palmer
Alex Smith

RBs:

Laurence Maroney
DeShaun Foster
Chris Brown
Cedric Benson
Jerious Norwood

Wrs:

Terrell Owens
Santana Moss
Donte Stallworth
Anthony Gonzalez

TEs:

Randy McMichael
Greg Olsen

Defense:

Bears
Vikings

Kicker:

Shayne Grahm

I did ok in my first week, got about 88 points. However, my opponent crushed me by about 25, he had a lot of good production. I made the mistake of not starting the Vikings D vs the Falcons, that cost me 30 points nearly! But, I'll learn as I go. I also didn't start Curry, so I had two costly mistakes.
