The Wisconsin-Penn State game is being built up so much that folks are forgeting both teams have a very loseable game the following week. If the stars align in our favor, the winner might have a let-down the following week. I'm predicting Iowa and MSU to win their last 3 games. We'd still have to win the rest of our games to win the Big Ten outright. Here's how I see it down the stretch:

OSU 7-1 (9-2) beats Ill, NW, Mich
PSU 6-2 (9-2) beats Wisky, loses @ MSU
Iowa 6-2 (8-3) beats NW, beats Wisky*, beats Minn
Wisconsin 5-3 (9-3) loses @PSU, loses to Iowa*, beats Hi
MSU 5-3 (8-3) beats Purdue, Minn, PSU
Michigan 5-3 (7-4) beats Ind, loses to OSU
Northwestern 4-4 (6-5) loses to Iowa, OSU, beats Ill
Minnesota 3-5 (6-5) beats Ind, loses to MSU and Iowa

* I might take the 5th on this one as it will be Barry's last home game as the coach.

I have a hard time seeing Iowa win in Camp Randall in Alvarez's last home game. Plus, Iowa has a weak defensive line.

Iowa has no chance of winning at Wisconsin...and the D line is a big part of that. It is the worst matchup of all the major teams in the Big Ten in my opinion as far as Iowa is concerned, because they won't score a lot of points, even against a weaker D, and their D can't and won't stop Wisconsin's power running game at all. I agree that Penn State could easily lose at East Lansing, given MSU's ability to pile up points in a given day (as long as they don't have to kick a FG...ever), but there's no chance that Iowa wins out, in my view.

I also don't see any way Iowa beats Wisky, but it's still a good point. PSU and Wisky have a tough schedule AFTER their game this weekend. OSU wins out, and the Bucks are looking strong. However, they could say the same thing about the Buckeyes. Northwestern and Michigan aren't a walk in the park. However, Iowa found out what happens to revenge games in the shoe, and the Bucks are always up for the Michigan game. I like it!

I think it's much more likely that Iowa beats Wisconsin than Penn State loses to Michigan State. Wisconsin is a team full of no-talent assclowns who have won all but 1 of their games by the grace of God.

Penn State is the real deal, and will roll it up on Sparty. Seriously, Penn State beat us, and we beat MSU, therefore logic says that...ah, nevermind.

I have this as one of those "go figure" games. Remember, I'm talking about let-down games. Over the past few years Iowa has come on strong in the end and this time I'm not going to overlook the possibility. I've never seen a QB as pissed as Drew Tate when he got rocked in the shoe and I think they've played at a different level since then. But I did acknowledge I could be dead wrong, mostly because they'll be determined to give Alvarez a win.

I can't see PSU losing at home.
I also dread the thought that MSU lays a huge egg like they usually do at the end of the year. We are going to need them to step up and play a good game without shooting themselves in the foot - I don't knwo if that's possible.
Damn, if only Minny could get a punt off! The we'd only have to worry about PSU.

The home team has won 7 of the last 8 games in the MSU-PSU series, with an average victory margin of 27.6 points.

That means almost nothing, but now when the announcers say it before the game, you can say you already knew that.
