RAM, I haven't played the arcade poker, but "double up" usualy refers to doubling your chips (money) in poker. When you go "all in" (betting all your chips) and someone "calls" your bet, and you win the hand, you have "doubled" your money. Sometimes more (than double) if you are playing against more than one player.

after you win a hand in the game it gives you the option of trying to double your qinnings. It gives you 2 different choices. You can simply double you winnings by guessing with color the next card will be or you can go for 4x the winnings by guessing the suit of the next card.
