Get off my lawn, you hooligans!
Since I'll be spending my birthday at a conference in lovely Milwaukee (Beer and Cheese and Cheese and Beer...), my fiancee decided I could have my birthday early... and she got me Doom3.

1. How cool is she? Cool as hell, that's how cool.

2. <DROOL>The game totally kicks ass. Only problem is that it barely runs on my computer.. I have to turn most of the really cool graphics off. Still, I advise you to check it out. Now I must go back to my wanton slaughter...

1.5Ghz P4 chip or AMD Athlon 1500
384MB of RAM
2GB of hard drive space.
An nVidia GeForce 3 or ATI 8500 graphics card

These are the minimum requirements. Pretty kick ass game, from everything I've heard...creepy as hell. I will be getting this soon. Just not this week.

Yeah, I know, the req's are crazy. I'm trying to decide if more RAM or better graphics card would help more. Something tells me the graphics card, but I don't want to spend the money.

What are your specs?

If you have over 512 RAM, I would definately upgrade your graphics card.

Anything under 512 (or 512) I would put another stick in for this game. And then I would upgrade my graphics card. (Radeon 9800 can be found for ~$200, good cost for a great card)

http://www.newegg.com <--- THE best place to buy computer stuff. I've been using them for 3 years and they ALWAYS have the best prices and best service.
