A word is nothing more than it's meaning, people. That meaning, is what Mili meant. He didn't mean it towards every black person. He meant it towards Don King. What's the fucking problem here?

I do not use that word very often, but I'd be a liar if I said it never passed my lips. And something tells me a lot of you guys are being Mark Furman type hypicrites. In fact, I think most white people who get their shorts all in a bunch, like some of you have, haven't been honest with themselves where race is concerned. I don't use the word. However, I am not sure if I can agree that "redneck" is not a derogatory term. It is certainly not of the same magnitude, but the meaning is there in certain situations...and it is valid. Two white guys calling each other a redneck does not take on the same connotation as a black man calling a group of whites "rednecks."

Obviously, the N word hits the panic button for some people...while other words do not. That can be be viewed as selective or as hypocrisy....either way, not everyone thinks the same way about these words. This discussion will not change that.

I have been reading this thread and up until this point had stayed silent. To everything that had been said, is Mili a racist? Who knows truthfully, only he can truely answer that question but if he is not racist he is at least undereducated (yes I saw his list of his degree etc but degrees mean nothing)
First for you to try to compared indentured servants to slave is stupid. Indentured servants worked for their Masters for a cetain amount of time and then were given land in exchange for the work that was done. Slave never got anything, there were owned much like you would own a piece of property.
