Domestic violence: Feedback

Is she the kind that would go and fuck up your parents shit if she couldn't find you? If not, move way the fuck away from her, and make damn sure that if there are any joint accounts, credit cards, checking, car loans, anything get that shit closed and get your name off anything she can touch and her name off anything you want to keep. Since you were married she can continue to fuck up you credit for quite a while.

If you do have to stay local, make sure you get a place with a garage, and use it (don't want to end up like Day Day)

Bipolar disorder is a serious illness. It causes dramatic mood swings. It is very hard on relationships, because the people afflicted with it often do reckless things. I have the illness, and it was very difficult to deal with for the first ten years or so. But the medication I take has helped stabilize my condition and made it possible for me to get on with my life. Medication will eventually work, but it's never a sudden, quick fix.

First of all, it generally takes several weeks for the body to build up a high enough concentration in the blood to work. Second, often times it takes years and a number of different combinations of drugs before the doctor finds the right mix that works best for the person. With me it took 8 years. These treatments are by no means an immediate solution.

As for the illicit drugs, bipolars often have addictive personalities that thrive on high risk behavior. I try and minimize these symptoms, but still here I am trying to quit smoking for the third time.

To make a long story short, it's one of those things that is difficult to deal with and will take a long time to see improvement and results.

I hope that helps with that side of your post. I also hope things get better.

The reply hit the nail on the head, thanks so much for the informaation that will help me in life on dealing with the past, present, and future. it is not really all her fault, once she quit taking the meds it was a living hell.
I was not going to take being abused mentally and personally beat on.
yes we had our fights like any couple, but she took it to another level.
