I am probably guilty of this as well, thankfully I don't think my wife even knows how to access our financial information.

There was a situation in the Nasty house last month where I told my wife we were not spending any money on new bedroom furniture for our son (he currently uses the stuff I had as a kid) Three days later I drove into the driveway in my new (used) Porsche. Sleeping on the couch that night still could not wipe the smile off my face. Needless to say, my sons new furniture should be here in 4-6 weeks.
