Damn, Im the only one hoping for a legendary matchup. I mean the stars are aligned. #1 vs. #2, biggest Rivalry in sports, if its a blow out, I don't think it would be considerd the game of the century. I want a game that I can remember this season forever, sometihng to tell my kids about. Guess Im in the minority.

Most of us will remember this game forever, anyway. We don't need a last-second field goal to win to make it more memorable.

Besides, if Michigan is #2, and Ohio State is #1, and #1 just slaps #2 up and down the field until #2 does a #1 in their pants, and runs away looking for a safe place to take a #2, and has nightmares for the next ten years of #1 doing a #2 right in their faces, it leaves little doubt as to who #1 really is.

I'm looking for this kind of beating:

Abject humiliation. I want our third teamers to get to play in the fourth quarter. I want to see the stunned looks on scUM faces as they cannot comprehend the magnitide of the beat down put upon them. I want them to throw their ugly helmets to the ground, cry, and argue amongst themselves.

But I don't want it to be so bad that Llllloyd has to lllleave.

I want to see the beating of a life time. I want the wind out of scUM's sails by halftime. I want the next few days of media quoting scUM players on how much they hate us, our town and the stadium.

I want to hear LLLLoyd Carr praise God that Troy Smith is out of eligibility.

4th quarter....3:12 left

Rob Schoenhoft to Albert Dukes for 62 yards and a TD! Leon Hall is beat
deep for the SIXTH TIME today.

JT raises 3 fingers skyward {"W" for you know who} as he sends the fifth
string O back in to go for TWO. As has happened a dozen times today,
Whoodley and Branch are flat on their backs as "Beanie" Wells strolls in for
the conversion.

Final score:

:osu: 92 scum: absolutely NOTHING!!!!

I think you get the picture.

A close game makes a rematch possible... and beating a team twice can be tricky.
A close game validates both of our seasons... UM is back, and OSU is #1.

We already have a classic for the ages under JT against Miami.

Give me an absolute domination. Establish that Carr's best team and season in a decade is nowhere close to JT's squad.

Leave no room for excuses (springs slip, gonzo out of bounds, hamby's drop, etc). Leave no room for doubt.

Send out the greatest "michigan killer" in fitting fashion... against an outstanding defense.

As long as Zwick gets a TD pass in before Robbie, I'm fine with that scenario.

Agreed.....
Meant to imply that Smith, Zwick and Boeckman have already put up 84
before this.

There is a story that was attributed to Lou Gerstner then CEO of IBM. The story goes that he was speaking to a large crowd of IBM?ers. He said picture your competition drowning in a pool. He then said picture yourself running and getting a hose, turning it on full blast, and shoving it down their throat.

I vote for the blowout.

So, you want a close game that could go down in history as one of the best games, or do you want an OSU dominated game?

Are you saying a game where OSU dominated Michigan WOULDN'T go down in history as one of the best ever? :)

And yes, I do understand the point you are trying to make. Personally, I'll take a victory anyway we can get it.
