Do you picture that posters here look like the images in their avatar?

I have to admit, sometimes when interacting with people here I sometimes actually think that they look like their avatars. Like I picture @Thump being Chris Griffin, @Jaxbuck being Jessica alba or @LovelandBuckeye being Jack Black. And I wouldn’t be surprised if @Nutriaitch dressed up in a bearded Mike Da Tigah mascot costume to post his bizarre food takes on here.

I only do this for posters whose avatars either have the picture of an actual person or a drawing of a person. For more abstract images or logos, I don’t.

Am I the only weirdo who does this?

I'm pretty new here, but I've seen some of these old threads that are kept around (which is a pretty cool concept - most message boards have similar topics over the years and years) and I keep thinking it makes sense that somebody as evil as Clarence Boddicker has been banned.

I don't watch Family Guy but I know who it is. I saw that same picture Thump uses for his avatar once on another site and thought "What's Thump doing here?"

Hurricane Ida ruined that costume, so I usually just wear an old Alice In Chains of Nirvana shirt and my own beard.
