Own a Strad trumpet, but haven't played it since a short-lived stint in the OSU pep band my first quarter.

I'm planning on picking it back up this summerr. Mrs. Katt is putting together a brass sextet to go around to nursing homes this Christmas and I'd prefer to not totally suck. Probably will anyways.

I play guitar all the time, and a little bit of piano. I also had a stint with viola/violin in 6th grade.

-a Samick acoustic gutiar.

and a 1973 Gibson Les Paul electric guitar. It was my dads, and now it is mine. It is one hell of a guitar, and in great shape. He gave me his Kustom half-stack amp to go with it. My whole electric guitar setup is straight from the '70s.

The last rig I owned was a Mesa Boogie Mark IV with a Marshall Cabinet. I had 4 effects pedals I used: Overdrive, Reverb, Chorus were all Ibanez Pedals and then I had a CryBaby Wah. When you play a lot of Metallica, you live and die by the Wah Pedal.

My Guitars were a Jackson Model 5 with two EMG 88 Humbuckers and a Floyd Rose Tremolo, A Kramer American with the same set up and an Ovation Acoustic. Can't remember the model.

the sax (alto and tenor)... I was just talking to my wife last night, about picking it back up. I'll prob. take some lessons (would like to get into jazz/blues type stuff, and really never played that style before).
