Do you know your credit score?

I read your post. I'm curious why you felt the need to announce the score to everyone on a thread that had to be resurrected.

B/c Irish fans have to proud of something...and when they can no longer obsess over their football team parting the Red Sea, they have to resort to obsessing over credit scores, pm's, and standing at the urinal checking who's dong is bigger.

Just checked mine since I'm gonna be buying a new car in August and looking to buy my first home next spring...

720
733
743

...up a decent amount from when I last checked about 18 months ago, in the "excellent" category now. Amazing what paying off credit card balances will do.:banger:

Is there one score that's more likely to be used by mortgage lenders? FICO? Or from one of the three bureaus?

They usually look at the "middle score" for conventional loan. FHA uses a "scorecard" They are not credit score driven.

EX: 729 692 745

For a conventional loan, your loan and pricing would be based off the 729
