Dish Network to Cancel FX and all Fox Sports Channels

Did you look on satelliteguys.us ? They usually have informed posters or employees of the satellite companies.

It is at least plausible, seeing how they don't include FX on their basic package, which is strange.

My package already doesn't have FX, but if they kill Fox Sports I will rage on the phone. Noted Cavs game don't mean what they used to, but I'll probably still watch some of them. That would definitely push me back to Time Warner.

Hopefully Fox is holding out to get Dish to carry FX in their basic package. I consider FX to be a standard network that all providers should carry so I'm a little upset that I have to download all of the FX shows that I watch. I'm sure this will go down like the ESPN/Time Warner drama a few weeks ago. In the end Dish will make the deal because they can't risk losing subscribers.
So does DirectTV just roll over every time a renegotiation comes up so they don't get this drama? My Dish bill seems to go up every month as it is. I couldn't imagine how much Direct would be.

ding ding ding. I told them flat out, fuck your 200 termination fee. ( I just upgraded to get the new DVR/HD rec for free.) And you changed programming on me. She said that fox wanted a 55% increase. I said id give them a week. was an hour after i called :)
