I currently dont have cable/satellite and a generic bunny-ear antenna receives all local CBus stations in HD for me. No special, over priced antenna. I live in Dublin and the signal is always clear.

Just saw this thread, it really depends on how old her dish is, when I got my HDDVR DirecTV came out and had to replace my dish. So yeah, it's a maybe, depending on how old the system is. However, they didn't charge me for the new dish, they just installed it and left.

Got my HDTV and DirecTV has made me a deal on a new receiver(lease) and 1 year free HD service. Some people have reported getting 2 years free HDTV service. New owners get Free HDTV Forever on both DirecTV and Dish. :cheers:
