You may have heard in the news that Denver voters successfully passed a measure which decriminalizes posession of <1oz of marijuana. Wishful thinking, as State and Federal law still ban it.

General Election Day is the Tuesday after the first Monday of November, as listed in the Constitution. Only in Colorado do they have this, or so Google says, its called a coordinated election.

I voted, the election board ladies where giving out donuts. yummy!!!

Not yet. I had to be leave for work at 6:00 this morning. I'll do it after work, if I can find my card that tells me where to vote. I moved last November, and didn't get my registration moved until after the February (Or as I call them, the if you don't pass it in November, then we'll stack the election in our favor when everyone forgets to vote) elections.

Voted at about 9am...Yes to Issue 1......I do like the new voting machines....It was funny b/c there was this old man beside me voting and he didn't have a clue what he was doing....He starred at his screen for a minute and then looked at mine....He finally said out loud "How do you start this thing"....Of course being the good samaritan that I am. I told him to hit the NEXT button....He felt like a jackass as well he should have....Wish they would have had these things in Florida a few years back.

I haven't voted yet today, but I voted for #7 yesterday. :p

I'm going to use it as an excuse to leave work about an hour early. My precinct is always really busy. At least as far as the bosses know. :)
