Devon Still (official thread)

look at this kid's offer list, you can't pass on a kid like this. If they only want 2 (Martin, Thomas), it wouldn't be hard to stop calling this kid (he has plenty of options, and is from OOS).

look at the offer list this kid has, he clearly has serious talent. If Martin/Thomas commit before Still, they don't have to take Devon if they only want 2. Thomas is far from a sure thing.

Does anyone see Still as an offensive tackle? I know some have said it's a possibility but upon further review, I think his talents would be best utilized at tackle after gaining some weight.

Devon favors Michigan solidly over Miami, Penn St., and tOSU. He says the only thing that really stood out about tOSU were the facilities. He says that he likes Michigan because it's in the city (?) and there is more to do in the city. He also likes Michigan's program and has family near there.

ann arbor over columbus, if that is true, he would have more problems then HALL is having with OSU admissions .:)

Likely only said that because he was being interviewed by Kurelic. OSU is tied in a distant 3rd right now with PSU to Michigan and Miami, with Miami coming on strong. I'd rather him end up south than north...

With the current situations in Miami and Ann Arbor, I don't see a current order as a big deal at all right now. If he commits early, there was no chance to begin with...if he drags it out, the Canes and Wolverines might be trouble.

With as much as we've seen info and recruit's minds change recently, you sure you want to put yourself out there like that?

If Devon visits again, we've got as good of a shot as anyone. Especially if he makes it over for a game...

Distant 3rd? That's quite a specific prediction.... Care to back it up at all?

Yep. My friend from OSU camp goes to school and plays with Still. They are pretty tight and my friend has tried to push OSU but he said Still is "really feeling Michigan and Miami" right now. He said that after he went to Penn State camp, he put them right there with OSU behind Miami and Michigan. Also informed me that Still will be playing more TE than Tackle this year to utilize his athletic ability. Now I realize anything can happen and a good year could very well help us out, but Still already visited and wasn't very impressed by the sounds of it. Now if it does drag out like grad mentioned, we could have a good shot with Coker and Carr possibly on their ways out and if they have another subpar season.
