What do two 210-230 lb. DE's have to do with Still?

Good point.

To ALL POSTERS, if you are going to speculate, please make sure you state as much...do not pass your opinion off as fact. If what you have is actual info, please state your source so we know where the info is coming from.

the fact that 2 new DE's just appeared on the radar(Grant & Council) does not make me real optimistic about Still's announcement
And teh fact we are recruuiting Still as more of a DT, should discount your statement. The DE has more to do with Ben Martin then anything else, imo. It could also mean, though it is stretching a bit, but that DE's in '08 could be a weak area, whereas DT (with Josh Jenkins - possible OLine - Shawntel Rowell, and a handfull of others as well) looks to be strong for us (or at least BETTER be).

DT????????

I don't know why some are saying Still is being recruited as a DT. I have previously read quotes from Still himself stating that OSU is recruiting him as a DE and that's the position he wants to play. 6'6" 250lbs is a DE build not a DT build. I am just relaying quotes from previous articles.

There?s still life if lineman snubs OSU
Buckeyes? recruiting class takes hits, but still viable

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Ohio State?s recruiting effort will stand Still, at least for a moment today.
Devon Still, a defensive lineman from Wilmington, Del., will announce whether he?s headed for Ohio State, Penn State or elsewhere. It?s not that Still is the No. 1 recruit in all the land, or even on the East Coast. It?s just that if he chooses Ohio State, it will end a more than monthlong drought of favorable commitment news for the Buckeyes? class of 2007..
Continued....

"If this is Jim Tressel suffering, I know lots coaches who would line up to trade classes with him right away," Crabtree said.

Is his announcement still supposed to be at noon?

Yes

Wilmington, Del., defensive end Devon Still is delaying making his college decision until next week, according to his father. "Devon is moving his press conference to Wednesday (Jan. 24) to accommodate ESPNU and Channel 10 news," Still's father said. "His decision will be at noon at Howard High School of Technology."
