It looks like maybe the biggest rivalry of the 90s is going to heat up again....while Colorado hasn't exactly won many of these games lately, they are finally starting to look competitive again.
First off, Nick Lidstrom was hurt last night. It was a clean hit (unlike what Claude Lemeiux did to Kris Draper), but still in hockey when the captain of your team gets hurt, there will be a fight, and there was...twice....along with the coaches getting into it

This is good for the NHL if there is a rivalry with someone vs. Detroit. Hell any heated rivalry would be good right now for the NHL.
