As I've come to find out, a lot of Wings fans use the CBJ as a measuring stick. That was out of frustration though. I should have said Chicago

Rafalski should be back tomorrow night....

Lidstrom practiced today as did Chelios....

If they get their top defensemen back, the Wings are right there in the West even after not doing much on deadline day....

Excellent news! Especially considering I'll being seeing the Wings in Columbus in about two weeks. I'd really love to see us healthy again.

Couldn't come at a better time for the Wings as the Stars were gaining ground fast on them during there cold streak in February. At least they got there rough stretch of poor play out of the way before the playoffs start and are slowly getting all of there injured defensmen back from injury (Kronwall, Rafalski, Lidstrom)

MAC IS BACK

TSN confirms that McCarty has been called up and will be with the team on Sunday. Whether or not he dresses is unknown at this point (Tuesday is more likely IMO)...

Lidstrom is back and playing tonight.

After 1 period plus, he has an assist and looks normal (no rust either).....

Just a good 3 week rest in the middle of the season.
