Detroit at Chicago, Game 7

Not sure how there are two minor penalties on that play? Looked like the Wings dude was pretty much doing everything.

By the way, I am rooting for Detroit here. But I think Chicago got robbed.

Crazy call, but then again so was the penalty sho that cost the Wings big time in game 6 so I'm good with it...

Despite one of the worst calls (based on the timing of it) that I've ever seen in sports, Chicago advances. That goal should have been reinstated upon review - how that was determined to be coincidental penalties was beyond me, and the guy didn't signal for play to be stopped until after the puck was in the net. Just imagine if that was game 7 of the finals and Chicago had lost in OT.

The Red Wings can now move to the East and only face the Blackhawks in the playoffs once every couple of decades when they both make the final.

I hope that those of you rooting for a team from that state up north continue to be miserable.

The double idiocy of that call was there was absolutely no penalty committed by the Chi. player. At a maximum it should have been a delayed penalty on Detroit. I am no fan of either team but for once justice was served in overtime.

I haven't \ don't listen to most sports radio anymore, but I am sure there was a huge cry for replay and overturning that call today, so that we can "get it right". I was surprised to hear the announcer on NBC say he thought it was a good call.
