Nice looking.

Many starters return next year.

One thing sticks out like a sore thumb.

Not one back up OL has played a snap.

Mauybe "Bolls" is a genius and he is prediciting a move to a flag football conference.

Not sure he really cares at this point (Bolls), but Luke certainly should if has plans on being here in 2012.

We will have a damn strong football team in '12 exept for the OL (I shudder to think about Brewster, Adams, and Sug leaving.

There is a difference between bashing and being critical.

I have in the past defended Bollman's coaching.

As I think despite the lukewarm results on the OL from an NFL draft perspective, the OL has been decent.

But his continued lack of urgency with regards to numbers is galling, especially when you look at the projected 2012 OL.

Does the 2012 OL not scare the crap out of you?

It is to the point where I think it maybe a detrent in finsing a replacement for "Bolls".

No backup linebackers have played a snap. (Maybe T. Jackson early last year E. Michigan)

Our linebacker coach from last year must not care either.

Anyways, back on topic:

Interesting that QBs are co-starters for Akron. Also it looks like Spencer now has the edge amongst frosh WRs.

Berry still hurt, I assume?

Even more tiresome than your nonstop pollution of threads with Bollman whining is us having to repeat ourselves over and over again on this subject.

This is not your soapbox. This is a message board respected for its organization, rules and intelligence.

You claimed to be thankful that you were allowed to post again on BP, but this unending crusade is spitting in the face of BP.

1) We don't start topics or mention news in an existing thread without a source. A link is required unless it was heard over the airwaves, which requires a recap by the poster.

2) we don't start threads on a whim when there is already a thread, or ten, where the discussion would fit. This isn't a subscription site, where hot new topics dominate the board then disappear months later. This is an archive as much as a discussion board.

3) we don't pollute the board with non stop crusades, especially not when they stray into buckeye bashing.

These are all well established rules, all of which you've had time to observe during your time here.

I am not a big fan of Bolls, but this is not something to be concerned about or even to harp on him about. I am sure the back ups will get plenty of playing time in the first two-four games of the year. Hopefully we will have plenty of blow out games in-conference where they will get work in mop-up situations as well. Step off the ledge dude. 2012 is a long ways away.

Point taken Winslow.

I'm still bullish on the OL this year.

And I posit that if a new OL coach is brought in soon after seasons end he could potentially flip a recruit (see Kalis) or procure one (see Diamond).

We should land Davidson.

The troublesome fact is we will have to rely on true frosh OL next year.

Never a good idea, especially with the Nebraska on the sked.

I'm bulish on the team this year, and in the future if we can fix the OL issue.

We mayhave to move some bodies.

Fragel, Baldwin (he should of moved in the spring), maybe even Hale.
Not really fare to the kids but an opportunity for PT exists.

It would be preferable if Carter, Brown, and Underwood all redshirted.

Carter is woefully out of shape.
Brown and Underwood could use a year to mature, get in better shape, and improve.

Ideally "CUB" would see the field until 2012 (in bac up roles)
and would compete for meaniingful minutes until 2013.
