Deion Sanders (HC Colorado)

@TCU
Nebraska
Colorado State

1st three games for the Buffs
And then they have a late 4 game stretch of USC, @ Oregon, @UCLA, Utah

I know there’s a whole lot of excitement in Boulder for Coach Prime. But they’re forgetting they literally had the worst team in PAC 12 and were one of the worst teams in all of CFB. I can see an 7 or 8 loss season, even with all of the talent he’s bringing. Not sure how much talent is retained and is constantly brought in with that many losses, even with some big NIL bags

And I am here for it.

Calling him Coach Prime is gross

Apparently he likes the name:

Nicknamed "Prime Time" during his NFL career, Deion Sanders' speed and force helped cement him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

Over the last few years, Sanders has used what he learned on the field to become known as "Coach Prime" — also the name of an Amazon Original docuseries about him and the Jackson State University Tigers. He is credited with turning the football team around, helping the historically black university win two SWAC titles and recruiting some of the country's top players.

I didn't mean it as if it was gross to him.

3 wins max.

The over hype train is going to crash fast.

People seem to confuse bringing in lots of mediocre transfers with certain success.

3 wins and not getting embarrassed in almost every game would still obviously a big improvement over what Colorado put out last year, but anyone thinking they are lock to even make a bowl game is kidding themselves.

I figured 5 with him getting his son at QB already proficient in his system. Add the two corners in if they stay healthy and it should keep them in most PAC? Games

I don't think his son at QB is going to fix that offense alone. It was just so bad last year and the pieces just aren't there. I'm sure it will be a improvement from last year, but it would be hard not to be with how bad they were. The ceiling is still pretty low.

Of the 23 transfers i'd only call maybe 5 of them legit good players. The other 18 are just replacement level guys if even that. I suppose some of them might be better than what they had last year at their given position, but that's saying nothing.

They could possibly get to 4/5 though based off of the rest of the bottom of the Pac 12 looking to be bad as well

Stanford, Arizona & Arizona State should all be pretty bad. If they can win those 3 and add Colorado State (whos horrible) that's 4 wins. Not sure where that 5th win would come from though. Nebraska? Still seems like a reach though, I definitely wouldn't count on them beating all 3 of those teams.
