Decanonized Mythologized Disgraced Ped State Monster Coach Joe Paterno (Zombie Icon)

I personally don't think the university will take down the Paterno statue, no matter what. They made their bed.

But if the university does take it down, chop it up and auction off the many pieces (with proceeds benefiting child abuse). There would be people -- certainly on BWI -- who would buy parts of that statue.

Is it possible for Louis Freeh to quickly re-open the investigation and look into Scott Paterno's computer files to see the letter he "ghost wrote" for his father?

JoePa randomly capitalizes words in the middle of sentences?? Now I see where their message boards get it from: do as He did.

yeah, I mean, it's a pretty good looking letter in Word for an non-emailer.*

Remember that BTN series "Step Into My Office" last Fall with the football coaches?

I still remember that 11 Big Ten coaches were featured on that series. The lone coach who didn't do it was Joe Paterno.

Maybe BTN would've filmed evidence, like a computer. A computer opened up to Gmail.

Joe left quite a legacy for his family and supporters. He relegated them to defending his honor for the remainder of their lives. What a guy.

Michael Jackson's family is doing the same thing.

There's a common denominator between Michael Jackson and Joe Paterno/Jerry Sandusky/Penn State/Second Mile.

That letter from Joe is the sort of remarkable document one could expect to read from such a great man.

Here is a man who broke his hip on the 12th of December and died of lung cancer on the 21st of January. Yet, despite the chemo and the pain meds he was able to collect his thoughts and in late December and early January express them so eloquently. This man who could not even send a simple email was able to figure out the complexities of MS Word and save his document for posterity and to do so without a single grammatical error or missed punctuation.

Then he had the foresight to ask that his family not release it immediately after his death. Nor at the beginning or the the close of the Sandusky trial. But on the eve of a report that is anticipated to be damning to his beloved university.

It is only unfortunate that he passed before adding one final paragraph. The one where he was going to acknowledge that not only was the reputation of Penn State going to suffer - but that harm had come to children.

No shenanigans here.

(How unfortunate that this same man could not write a one sentence note to the police over a decade ago.)

All good points. And a serious question. Could anyone really think Joe Ped wrote this?

It's becoming clearer and clearer that the paterno family is an example of the worst of the ped aggy cult. They are so desperate to protect Dear Leader's tattered legacy, that they will just throw whatever piles of bull[Mark May] that are within reach against the wall in the hope that something will stick. The best thing they could do is slink into the background and hope this is all forgotten and some point. Desperately chucking hail marys into the air hoping to change a massive tide of public opinion will only make things worse. But, the old man's legacy is all they, and that entire sick cult have. So here we are.
