COLUMBUS, Ohio ? Freshman right-hander Dean Wolosiansky, from Uniontown, Ohio and Green High School, was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American baseball team, Collegiate Baseball announced Wednesday.

Wolosiansky led Ohio State with seven wins and a 4.22 ERA in his first season. He was 7-4 overall and 5-2 with a 4.86 ERA in Big Ten Conference games. He also threw all three of the pitching staff?s complete games this season. He was named to the all-Big Ten second team.

An engineering major, Wolosiansky will play baseball this summer for Haymarket of the Valley League.
Wolosiansky represents the 12th Buckeye to earn Freshman All-America honors. His selection this season marks the fourth consecutive year in which Ohio State has had a Freshman All-American. He is one of only two Big Ten Conference freshmen to be named to the team (Eric Jokisch, Northwestern).
