I just read this thread and was amazed to learn that ND had a professional baseball team.

I finally saw the Sheffield clip last night. The fan looked pretty drunk, and I agree that it wasn't a premeditated swing at Sheffield. But I don't blame Sheffield for shoving him. The ESPN guys and the Red Sox were giving credit to the security guard who ran in to hold the guy back, but that took a few seconds. It was a good thing that the fan's buddy was holding him back to begin with.

Another good thing was that the Yankees didn't have another game in Fenway the next day.

NDChief, do you acknowledge reality or just have your mommy type the same thing over and over? was texas tech in 02 good? how bout then top-ten Washington State? Or top-ten Washington in 03? Or NC State led by Rivers in 03? And washington and wash st are both going to be given a return away game in the future (it didn't work out to do a home-away series in sequential years).

ND is just unbelievable. They hang their hat on history and PAST wins...bitch and brag that their schedule is so tough that they can't possibly win all their games...then enter into a TV contract that they are not going to get to keep unless they continue playing a tough schedule.


Just join the Big Ten so we can own you yearly, or stick your heads up Touch Down Jesus's ass and shut up.
