wow... the Michigan St boards are in full meltdown... some VERY unflattering posts... major props to the BP mods making sure we don't make such fools out of ourselves

With the Skunkbears under their thumb for the last several years, they have some serious Little Brother steam that they haven't been able to let out.

It's a good chance to remind ourselves that we don't give a darn for the WHOLE state of M*ch*g*n.

Football: Linemen change minds, pick Ohio State
By Tim May
The Columbus Dispatch Tuesday December 13, 2011

Urban Meyer has flipped the scene in Big Ten recruiting, with two elite defensive line prospects ? Se?Von Pittman of Canton and Tommy Schutt of Glen Ellyn, Ill. ? yesterday reneging on pledges to other schools in favor of committing to the Buckeyes.

?For 5 1/2 months, I didn?t think there was a chance in the world this would happen because Se?Von was sold on coach (Mark) Dantonio and Michigan State,? Pittman?s coach at Canton McKinley, Ron Johnson, said last night. ?Then some things happened recently that made him reconsider, and he flipped.?

What happened for Pittman, ranked ninth among defensive end prospects nationally by Scout.com, and previously Penn State-bound Schutt, No. 5 among defensive tackle prospects by rivals.com, was the Buckeyes stabilized their coaching situation by hiring two-time national championship winner Meyer.

?And it appears they have gained some closure on what?s coming from the NCAA investigation,? Johnson said. ?It was important for Se?Von that he go someplace where he thought he could compete for a national championship some time in the next four years.?

They need to deal with it.

No kidding! I just went over to the 247 boards and they are spewing hatred left and right! I think we can all agree that Se'Von originally wanted to be buckeye and the ONLY reason he committed to MSU was because of OSU's situation at the start of last season.

I'm also tired of ppl continuously saying "It's not fair that OSU has two coaching staffs....they cheat". I get so tired of reminding them the TTUN did the same thing. Oh well....there will always be haters:oh:

Big shout out to Coach Fickell on this one...having Urban has been great for recruiting but don't discount how many recruits have said part of the reason they chose OSU is because Fickell is staying on the staff.
