The first Glenville player in the top 10 is defensive end Robert Rose. We also have a video interview of Rose to go along with his profile. Click the link to take a look.

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville star Robert Rose says "everyone is his favorite right now." So what schools is he specifically talking about?
</TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=3>
Robert Rose is a 6-4 and 240 pounds defensive prospect from Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville High School. This future defensive end is from the same school that has produced many Ohio State signees and stars over the last few seasons. Will he follow Ted Ginn, Jr. and the others to Columbus?

”Oh, I don’t know,” said Rose. “Right now, everyone is my favorite and I will know after I take my visits.”

So as things stand for Rose now he will play the recruiting game and wait this out. According to Rose he has scholarship offers from Ohio State, LSU, North Carolina, Michigan State, Houston and Miami (Ohio). Southern Cal, Purdue, Michigan and Iowa are some other college football powers that are showing him a ton of interest.

“Right now I like Ohio State, LSU, USC, North Carolina and Miami (Fla.).

”Columbus is so close and I have a great relationship with the players and coaches. Plus, Ohio State wins.

“UNC has shown me great interest and from what I know of them I like them. I need to get to know them better.

“Same with LSU. They have offered and I don’t know much about them or the state of Louisiana. But I do know they have a great program.

“With USC it is all about winning and they have won back-to-back national championships. ”Miami is another school that I just don’t know too much about right now.” Rose and his Glenville teammates will once again take a college camp tour starting on June 11th where they will see about 10 schools.

From the Michigan State site...the article talks about Coach Ginn and his summer college camp tour. Rose has offers from MSU, OSU, Oklahoma and Akron among others. Rob has the physical tools to dominate...now he just needs to learn how to be a better football player.

Osugrad21,

Is Rob camping at OSU?

Yes, he was there. If defense wins championships, tOSU future is looking pretty. If Rose and Small commit along with selected others we'll be stacked. Talk about passing the look test. Rose and Small look like "Solo-Flex" models just when their walking. You don't want to be on the other side of Rob if he's angry. Only 17, scary. Gives up about 3"-4" to a Boone or Brown, but his arms are just as long.

Great read from Steve Helwagen. Robert discusses his favorite and least favorite parts of the Ginn Sr. ASAP Tour. He praises the ND stop and coaching staff, but names tOSU, LSU, North Carolina, and Illinois as early schools of interest. Robert is in no hurry to make a decision.
